Katelynn King is GriffithLaw's newest team member. She has been a licensed attorney since 2021 and initially practiced real estate law. Katelynn is originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, went to college at Murray State University, then moved to Nashville in 2018 to attend the Belmont College of Law. While in law school, Katelynn was involved in many leadership organizations and served as vice president of Belmont's Legal Aid Society. Katelynn decided to transition to personal injury law because she has a passion for helping others and is highly motivated.
Outside of her passion for advocacy, Katelynn enjoys traveling, reading southern literature, and writing short stories. One of her favorite quotes is from Zora Neale Hurston: “some people could look at a mud puddle and see an ocean with ships.” Katelynn is the kind of person who believes life is what you make it, and perspective can change everything. She feels that sometimes we have to have a little imagination and a lot of tenacity to get through the toughest times in life.
