Tara Rose, originally from New York City but living in Tennessee for over a decade, shares her frightening experience of a dog attack and how she found the help she needed to recover.
A Peaceful Day Turns Dangerous
It was a sunny Sunday afternoon. Tara was gardening in front of her house while her dog, Memphis, a Welsh Terrier, was tethered nearby. Out of nowhere, two dogs came running full speed toward Memphis. They grabbed him by the neck and tossed him like a rag doll.
The Attack
Tara quickly picked Memphis up by his harness and lifted him over her head to protect him. That is when the dogs turned on her. They bit into her skin, knocked her to the ground, and would not let go. She kicked and punched, but nothing worked. The attack felt like a nightmare she could not wake up from.
Serious Injuries
Tara was left covered in bites and blood. She had deep wounds, including a large bite on her hand that left a scar, another bite on her breast, and one on her face. She was in shock and in pain, both physically and emotionally.
Finding Legal Help
Knowing she needed guidance, Tara began looking for a lawyer she could trust. A family friend recommended GriffithLaw. From the start, John Griffith and his team made her feel supported. They explained every step of the process and stood by her even when the insurance lawyers were aggressive.
The Road to Healing
There were moments Tara wanted to give up, but John and his team encouraged her to keep going so she could heal and have closure. In the end, she not only found justice but also gained a trusted friend in John Griffith.
Tara’s Message
Looking back years later, Tara feels grateful for the support she received. Her story is a reminder that with the right help, you can get through even the most frightening experiences.
