Emily Schwegmann is the first friendly face clients see when they walk through the doors at GriffithLaw. As a receptionist and legal assistant, she plays a key role in supporting the team and ensuring every client feels welcome, informed, and cared for from day one.
Originally from Mississippi, Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she also minored in political science. During college, she interned with two law firms and discovered her passion for working in personal injury law. After graduating in May 2025, she relocated to Tennessee to pursue her career and joined GriffithLaw in June.
Emily’s day-to-day involves managing the front desk, connecting callers to the right team members, scheduling appointments, and helping keep the office running smoothly. Her attention to detail and warm personality make her a trusted resource for both clients and coworkers.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Nova and Nugget, watching movies, and exploring live music events around town. Moving from Mississippi to Tennessee to follow her passion for the legal field has been a meaningful step in her journey, and she’s proud to be part of a team that stands up for injured clients across Middle Tennessee.
