As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Intake Specialist who understands that the first conversation matters — and who takes pride in being the calm, compassionate voice people hear during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related
- 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role (legal intake, customer service, medical intake, call center, or similar preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence
- Ability to handle sensitive, emotional, or stressful conversations with empathy and composure
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable using computer systems, case management software, and basic office technology
- Ability to follow established processes while exercising sound judgment
- Team-oriented mindset with the confidence to communicate effectively with attorneys and staff
About the Role
The Intake Specialist is often the first point of contact for potential clients. This role requires empathy, confidence, attention to detail, and the ability to balance compassion with efficiency. You’ll gather critical information, evaluate potential claims, and help guide callers through next steps all while representing GriffithLaw with professionalism and care.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interview prospective clients by phone and email with empathy and excellent communication skills
- Evaluate potential claims to determine merit and alignment with the firm’s practice areas
- Schedule initial consultations with attorneys for qualified leads
- Onboard new clients by completing intake paperwork and organizing initial case files
- Accurately enter client information into firm systems
- Assist the marketing team with business development efforts, including networking with other law firms to grow referrals
- Perform administrative and support tasks assigned

- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
- Work Location: In person
- Ability to commute/relocate: Franklin, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
