On May 19, 2017, Jennifer safely operated her 2014 Jeep Cherokee southbound on Memorial Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee. On the same date and at the same time, Mr. Tomes operated a 2006 Saturn SL westbound on NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee.
Jennifer drove her vehicle into the intersection of Memorial Boulevard and NW Broad Street on a solid green light. Suddenly, and without warning, Mr. Tomes ran a red light and the front end of his vehicle struck the front end of Jennifer's vehicle.
Ms. Drager witnessed the wreck and stated that she saw Mr. Tomes run straight through a solid red light right before the collision with Jennifer. Mr. Tomes was cited for “Failure to Obey Traffic Signals”. Jennifer’s vehicle had to be towed due to the damage it sustained in the wreck.
Jennifer suffered painful injuries and other harms and losses as a result of this wreck.
